Doxology

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.  Praise Him all creatures here below. Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts.  Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost!

Those are the words to a song I often sang as a child.  I would sing this song along with the congregation during a church service or when our big family (grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc.) came together holding hands as a prayer- like at Thanksgiving.

Here’s what this song reminds us of:

God is the giver of all the blessings we have

-like family, home, things we enjoy

We praise God along with all the other creatures here on earth!

Our praises join the praises of angels in the heavens!

Our praise is to the Triune God- God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost as this version says)

When I sing this song, I am always amazed of how important it is to praise God! And that our praises join with the creatures on earth and the heavenly creatures! Wow!! 🤩

So sing along with me as we give great praise and thanksgiving to God, especially this time of Thanksgiving for all He has done!🎵
