HE FIRST LOVED US!

First John 4:19 teaches us a simple but VERY IMPORTANT truth about love: We love because God first loved us.
And because of that VERY IMPORTANT truth these things are true:
Moms and Dads and Children love because God first loved us.
We can love our pets- our doggies, kitties, turtles, and goldfishes because of God's love.
If you love ice cream or delicious ripe peaches it's because God first loved us and created us to enjoy all those wonderful creations!
Worship is our response to God's love. We love Him and come to Him in worship--in our prayers we pray each day, in our devotional times at home, in our Sunday service-- because HE FIRST LOVED US! What a beautiful thing we get to do because He has put it in our hearts to love Him back! Thank you God! Mrs. Bess
