Heaven!

Heaven is a wonderful place,

Filled with glory and grace.

I love the words to this song I grew up singing in Sunday School. It pretty much says everything I think we need to know about heaven- that it's wonderful, that it's filled with God's glory and grace, and we're going to see Jesus there!

Our lesson this week is about heaven and what it means that Jesus invites us to live there eternally with him when our days on earth are gone. But he also wants us to know that even while we are living on this earth, we can already be fixing our eyes and preparing our hearts for heaven. He taught his disciples about heaven which means we get to know what Jesus thought was important for us as we prepare to go there!
