To God be the Glory!

To God by the Glory is a hymn that has been around for 150 years was written by a woman named Fanny Crosby. She wrote hundreds of hymns. Growing up I sang a number of these hymns.
This is one of my favorites! I can remember singing the chorus (Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear his voice!) very loudly and excitedly as a child! Here's the first verse in case you don't know it....
To God be the glory,
great things He hath done,
so loved He the world
that He gave us His Son,
who yielded His life
an atonement for sin,
and opened the life-gate
that all may go in.
I think God would want us to sing this very enthusiastically! Because it shows that we rejoice that we exist for His glory. Even more important, though, is that we believe that He made a way of salvation through Jesus and that we want others to know that too! In Him alone do we have life everlasting!
Here's a newer arrangement of the hymn with a fun beat. Sing and dance along with this and give God the Glory! Great things He has done!
