We come each week to church as an act of worship. God is the One who calls us to worship. We come acknowledging He is in control and He made us to be ruled over by Him. So we come singing His praises and praying to Him and listening to what He has to say to us in the Bible.
Pay attention to the words of this hymn...
All creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice and with us sing
O praise Him! Alleluia!
Let all things their Creator bless
And worship Him in humbleness

And praise the Spirit, Three-in-One

People are unique in the way we worship. Other creatures like animals and birds and whales can use their voices and sing, but we are the ones that can truly praise God the Father, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit.
