Let's Start at the Very Beginning🎵
There is a scene in "The Sound of Music" where Frau Maria is teaching the Von Trapp children about singing. She says to them that the best place to start learning to sing is to, "start at the very beginning- a very good place to start!"
So that's what we are going to do in class this week. We're starting on a wonderful adventure of reading through God's Word together and we want to start at the very beginning because it is a VERY GOOD place to start! We'll be learning Genesis 1:1 which is an important foundation for us to build on! That verse declares, "In the beginning, God created the heavens 🌟and the earth 🌎."
All that we have received during our lives here on earth comes from God. When that truth sinks into our hearts and minds then so much else that we need to know and learn will make sense. God created us and all things for His Glory, so let's be sure to start there! đź’«
